Oscar
G. Mink, D. Ed.
Biographical sketch,
Resume, Past clients, Publications
Dr. Oscar G. Mink has
four degrees: Mining Engineering, Mathematics, Counseling
Psychology, and Human Ecology. Oscar is a certified
and licensed Psychologist. He has held senior executive
positions with major multi-national corporations an
has served as a consultant to top level executives for
over thirty years. He is the author of over 100 management-related
articles, monographs, and book chapters.
Oscar has authored or
co-authored over 13 published books on a variety of
topics from Organization Development to Total Quality
Management and Strategic Team Development. His specific
expertise is executive development and total quality
management.
Dr. Mink is a Professor
of Graduate Study and Research in Human Resources Development
at the University of Texas at Austin. He has conducted
research and development in applied behavioral sciences
for Cornell University, the Xerox Corporation, West
Virginia University and the National Laboratory of Higher

Robert Formosa, Ph.D.
Biographical sketch,

Bob Formosa is President
of Human and Organization Development Systems, Inc.,
an international, Pittsburgh based human resource development
consulting firm.
Dr. Formosa is a graduate
of Duquesne University. He holds a Masters degree in
Organization Development and a Ph. D. in Human and Organization
Systems from the Fielding Institute. His education includes
training as a Certified Reality Therapist and advanced
supervised training in Transactional Analysis.
With over 30 years total
work experience in the field, Dr. Formosa has been a
Corporate Director of Human Resource Development, Personnel
Director, Sales Training Coordinator and both an Internal
and External Consultant to organization leaders and
managers for a variety of manufacturing and service
organizations.
Bob has taught management
related courses at colleges and universities including
the University of Texas, Robert Morris College, The
University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania State University

Brian
Thomas
Biographical sketch,

Brian is a facilitator,
educator, mentor, consultant, business manager and director
with a wealth of experience in managing change and improving
performance in complex business environments. Brian
has developed a number of organizational and business
units from the ground up in competitive business environments.
Formally a senior executive
in Telstra, Brian has broad experience working with
business partners around the world in the areas of change
management, business development, strategy development,
performance management, evaluation, innovation and service
improvement. He has been integrally involved in leading
and supporting organizations undertaking significant
redesign, cultural change, improvement and learning.
As a consultant Brian
has developed a business with an extensive client list
covering large and small organizations, for profit and
not for profits in the government, public and private
sectors. This extensive base provides up-to-date networks,
which enhance continuous learning and the development
of best practices in a range of different operating
environments. Brian is equally at home in the boardroom
and the front line of organizations and many clients
utilize both Brian’s strategic capabilities for
organizational and business development, as well as
operational experience as a change facilitator, futurist,
coach and mentor.
Brian is a regular speaker
and facilitator on performance issues and learning in
Australia and overseas and is currently, mentoring,
coaching and listening to executives in a number of
industries, each who are each confronting significant
personal change, organizational change and performance
management issues.
As an associate of Monash
Mount Eliza Business School, Program Director for the
Senior Managers and Managing in the Middle Programs,
Fellow of the Quality Society of Australia and an active
member of other professional associations, Brian is
committed to networking, developing and sharing knowledge
and experience to enhance performance of individuals,
teams and organizations.
Brian is tour leader
and facilitator for the successful Service Leadership
and Human Resources Study Tours of Australian Companies
conducted annually for Chief Executives and leaders
of Australian Companies. These annual tour programs
are organized by Event House Productions and have been
in continuous operation for the last 9 years with Brian’s
direct involvement since 1994.
Mentoring, action learning
and coaching are key interventions. Active listening,
clarifying, giving and receiving performance feedback,
developing and maintaining trust across diverse groups
of people and beginning “where people are at”
in the context of their visions, organization performance
objectives, constraints, and culture is a hallmark of
Brian’s approach.
