The
Dice Experiment simulates the effect of variation on the throughput,
or volume output, of a multi-stage process. It emphasizes
the effect of variation and the importance of managing the
entire process rather than traditional management approaches
of dividing processes into departments or section.
The experiment involves
up to 9 people and is ideal for making clear links to the
work place. It can be run on its own or is an ideal follow
up for the Red Beads.
